you will never fear dying again.

It is impossible to live or to die without God, but it is not impossible to think that you are.
If you think that you are living or dying without God, you will experience that you are.
You may have this experience as long as you wish. You may end this experience whenever you choose.
I believe those are holy words. I believe they came directly from God.
Those words have been floating around in my mind for the past four years. I see now that they were my invitation. An invitation from God for a larger conversation.
You're right. I wanted to make sure that we had this larger conversation, and so I placed those words in your mind every time you thought seriously about life or death, even for a moment. This is a conversation you've been reluctant to have, and have put off repeatedly.
Yes, I know. It's not that I'm afraid to talk deeply about life, or even about death, it's just that these are very complex subjects and I wanted to make sure I was really prepared to enter into a huge conversation about them. I wanted to be psychologically and, well, I guess, spiritually ready.
Do you feel that you are now?
I hope so. I can't keep putting off this conversation forever. Even if I tried, you'd just keep placing those words into my head.
That's right, I would. Because those are the words I want you to hear even if you never get to the rest of the conversation.
Okay, I've heard them.
I want you to hear them over and over again.
It is impossible to live or to die without God, but it is not impossible to think that you are.
If you think that you are living or dying without God, you will experience that you are.
You may have this experience as long as you wish. You may end this experience whenever you choose.
Those words convey all that anyone who is afraid of living or dying will ever need to know.

That's exactly what it was meant to be.
And it worked. I'm not about to cut the conversation short now. So here I am having a conversation with God about living and dying. Again.
Yes, but looking at many things that we have never discussed before.
Who would believe this . . .
It doesn't matter. You're not having the conversation for anyone else, you're having it for yourself.
I have to keep reminding myself of that.
So often people see themselves as doing something for someone else when they're really doing it for themselves.
Everybody is doing everything for themselves. When you awaken to this awareness, you will have reached Breakthrough. And when you understand that this is true even about dying, you will never fear dying again. And when you no longer fear dying, you will no longer fear living. You will live your life fully, right up until the very last moment.
Hold it. Wait a minute. You're saying that when I'm dying, I am doing it for myself?

The most inspirational, Soul stirring, thought provoking book I've ever read. This is my new bible.

This book is a genuine Gift from yourSELF to yourself. It's a remarkable journey through some of Life's most epic questions. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? What will be there when we get there? It's a beautifully orchestrated tool of "rememberance." Your Soul will remember and resonate with its eternal Truths as it opens to them, like "a thousand pedaled lotus opening to the Core of ITS BEING; Our BEING." I truly agree with the concepts set forth in this book and when reading them for the first time. I had my own theories regarding most of these concepts but reading this was like having my own philosophical ideas being read to me but in a much more polished and refined way. I believe that there is Ultimate Reality, beyond the Space/Time continuum, and that when someone leaves their physical body, in `no time at all', the other will be there in re-Union. This is a quote from "Home with God" that I resonate with so perfectly:
"Such is the wonder of the ultimate Reality that, though it may be experienced as a long while for those who remain living in physicality within the illusion of time, it will be in your own Moment of Now that you will be reunited." - Page 300

Erased my fear of dying

Walsch's book Conversations With God Book 1 was the first time I'd read ANYTHING that lined up with the way I was taught spiritually and answered so many questions no religious leader would ever provide me with a straight answer to. Home With God: In a Life That Never Ends did the same thing with regard to life and what happens after we disembark from the Earth plane and put me at peace knowing that we never really die, we just move on to the afterlife when our soul's purpose here has been achieved. It made me lose the fear of the unknown on the other side.
Home With God helped me understand the stages of passing on, that there is only love - no hate, we only go when our soul has experienced what it came here to experience, and that no matter what, God is ALWAYS with us. Free will is always in play throughout life and the after life. It is quite difficult to explain all of this, so if you feel like there's something more after you pass on or you perhaps need to know that there is nothing to fear, just read this book. I have read all of Walsch's books. They have made all the difference in the world with how I live my life and how I feel about leaving the Earth plane. Oh, and if you are reluctant because you think it might be just a bunch of new age BS, check that idea at the door. No crystal balls or tarot cards here.

Inspired explanation of death and the afterlife

As an interior designer I’ve had the privilege of working in many client homes. I’ve acted as a sounding board for just about every conversation imaginable including many people’s profound fear of death. How I wish they’d read this book.
Through a question and answer method, the author explores the reasons for our lives and our deaths, what happens to us when we die, and why we would choose to experience life again, and again, and again. The book asserts there are no victims when viewed from a spiritual perspective. We are all one another’s angels. We are never judged—by anyone, and least of all God.
There is such a place as the unmanifested reality of God where everything exists without form. We go there every night in deep sleep to reconnect and replenish with Source, and we enter this state once again when we die before going on to our next life choice. This hits home for me as I’ve had the profound experience of being in this unmanifested state of reality. I’ve also had nearly seventy people share their near-death experiences with me, not one of them afraid to die. I know death is not the end, only life transforming. This book is as close to explaining what I and others have experienced in a realm beyond our life on earth.
I highly recommend this book because everyone is going to experience death. Our thoughts create our perception of reality. This is true after we die as well. It’s vital we help people through the dying process by ending their fear of it. The information in this book can help us embrace this transition peacefully.
